For any booking, you must provide the following :

- Lastname, firstname and age of the primary driver

- Phone number, E-mail address

- Date, time and location of the vehicle pick-up and drop-off.

- Vehicle type

A confirmation summarizing your rental will be sent to you by e-mail upon completion of the booking.

All bookings made by GotRentalCars are personal, non transferable, and will be made on behalf of the primary driver. Car rentals available through GotRentalCars.com are subject to standard rental contracts of the car rental companies, which will be completed by you at the time of pick-up of the vehicle.

Vehicle Availability and Rental Duration

Vehicles will be made available to you at the place, date and time specified in your confirmation email. Failure to appear on time at the rental location may cause the rental agency to invalidate the booking. Failure to return the vehicle to the rental agency within 29 minutes may cause them to charge an additional day.

Eligibility

In order to pick-up the vehicle, the primary driver listed on the voucher must be present at the rental agency with the voucher emailed by GotRentalCars. The primary driver must also present their driver’s license, a valid ID and an international credit card in the primary driver’s name. If the driver’s license is not written in Roman script, an international driver’s license must be presented. Debit cards, especially Visa Electron or MasterCard Maestro are not accepted by rental agencies. The rental agency will use the credit card for the deposit.

A minimum or a maximum age and driver experience level is required by the rental agency. These conditions vary by country, state, province, vehicle type, and the specific agency. For underage driver or senior driver(70 + years old) a fee may also apply. In any case, driver requirements will be given to you at booking.

If you wish to add one or more drivers to the rental agreement, they must be on site at the rental counter at the time of pick-up. Each additional driver must present a valid driver’s license and a valid ID. Charges for each additional driver are payable directly at the rental agency’s counter. Charges for additional drivers are subject to change by the rental agency without notice.

If any of these conditions are not met, the rental agency reserves the right to cancel the reservation, without any compensation from them or GotRentalCars.

Geographical Restrictions

Depending on the rental agency and the country of your rental, additional charges may apply for crossing international borders. In order to avoid any problems with the booking, it is strongly advised to check directly with the rental agency or GotRentalCars if you intend to cross international borders with your rental vehicle.

Use of the Rental Car

Throughout the duration of the rental agreement, the vehicle must be used reasonably and with due care. The vehicle may not be used to sublease, transport persons for compensations or to participate in races or competitions.

Rates

Reservation prices are effective and locked in immediately upon completion of your booking. Your official rate will be summarized in the confirmation email and voucher. Any changes on the website made after completion of your booking, will not affect your confirmed price.

ZERO DEDUCTIBLE PACKAGE includes:

- Time and mileage
- Third Party liability Insurance
- Collision damage waiver WITHOUT DEDUCTIBLE
- Theft protection WITHOUT DEDUCTIBLE
- Booking fee
- Sales Tax

Mandatory Taxes and Service Fees

Depending on the country, car rental company, car category, type of package, etc… some additional taxes and fees may apply to your rental car booking. An estimate of those taxes, fees and surcharges will appear on your voucher and will be charged to the primary driver in the local currency by the car rental company at the time of pick up. Estimated amounts displayed on the voucher are in USD and are subject to exchange rate fluctuation.

Any other item not mentioned above is not included in the price. Fuel and additional insurances offered by the rental company, options such as child seats or additional drivers, underage driver fees and driving violations are not included in the price.(*CDW and TP : some deductible may apply)

Payment terms

Payment of a prepaid rental is required in full upon completion of a booking with GotRentalCars. Once the payment is accepted a voucher will be sent with the confirmation email. If payment in full is not received on time, GotRentalCars reserves the right to cancel the booking without any compensation. Payment of a non-prepaid rental is due at the rental desk on the day of pick up.

Any cancellation or modification request must be transmitted to GotRentalCars in writing (mail or telecopy) or made on the website under the section My Account. An email confirming the cancellation or modification will be sent to you once the request has been processed.

Modification

Modifications to the vehicle type, dates of rental or pick-up/drop-off locations are free of charge. However, rental companies rates may vary depending on these factors.

Extending the duration of the rental period will result in additional fees which are payable directly at the rental agency’s counter. These fees will depend on the rental agency’s availability, and may be higher than those proposed by GotRentalCars. If the rental period is shortened after vehicle pick-up, unused days are not refundable.

Cancellation and no-show

Cancellation of a prepaid rental is accepted at no cost up to 48 hours prior to vehicle pick-up time. Cancellation made within 48 hours prior to vehicle pick-up time a penalty of $25 applies. If the reservation is not cancelled by the pick-up time or in case of a no-show a penalty of $50 applies. These penalties will be displayed at time of booking and on the voucher.

Any refund resulting from a cancellation or modification will be made to the credit card used for payment.

A non-prepaid rental may be cancelled at anytime without penalty as long as it is cancelled prior the vehicle pick up time.

These general terms of sale are subject to French law.
